NATIONALITY SWITCH
He previously represented the United States of America in sailing, including at the 2018 Junior 470 World Championships in Bracciano, Italy. In 2019 he requested US Sailing allow him to switch nationality to American Samoa, as he felt he had a better chance of securing an Olympic quota spot through the Oceania qualification events.
