She began sailing with Anouk Geurts in the 49er FX class in November 2018, with the initial plan of qualifying for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. In March 2021 they secured qualification for the 2020 Olympic Games. "The fact that the Games have been postponed for a year has helped us. Paris 2024 has always been our main goal.
