General Interest

General
CREWMATE
She and her sailing partner Ana Barbachan began competing together in December 2008. Oliveira Horn gave birth in 2013 and 2017, and says it was Barbachan's flexibility that allowed the partnership to continue through this period. "She is amazing, she is always helping me. If she hadn't been so understanding, this would have never happened." (jangadeiros.com.br, 12 Jan 2018; globoesporte.globo.com, 28 Jun 2016)

MOTHER AND ATHLETE
She has two children - Roberta, born in 2013, and Arthur, who arrived four years later. She has continued to compete on the world circuit during this time, and sailed at the 2013 Class World Championships in La Rochelle, France, while she was more than five months pregnant with Roberta. "I am lucky to have people who help me a lot. My husband is always by my side, and nannies, my aid angels, who allow me to keep on sailing."
