She competed in the women's 470 class alongside crewmate Berta Betanzos at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, before switching to the mixed gender Nacra 17 class in 2013. She competed with Fernando Echavarri in the Nacra 17 at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, until he retired in February 2019. She then began sailing with Florian Trittel, and despite having sailed together for less than a year, the pair secured an Olympic quota spot for Spain at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo by finishing fifth at the 2019 World Championships in Auckland, New Zealand, in December that year. "We have been together for just one year. It has been twelve months of hard work, with 10 hours a day of training, suffering and sacrifice, but we are really happy to achieve this [quota spot] together," said Florian. MUGGED IN RIO
In May 2016 she and crewmate Fernando Echavarri as well as their coach, Santi Lopez-Vazquez, were mugged at gunpoint in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, close to where the sailing competition was due to take place at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. A bag with money, documents and a camera was taken, but all three were uninjured. "At that moment, I thought I had a fifty-fifty chance of getting shot. The boy could have pulled the trigger.
