General Interest

General
OCEAN SAILING
She took part in the 2017/18 Ocean Race with the Spanish team Mapfre. She and the other crew members sailed 45,750 nautical miles over about nine months, and eventually finished in second place. "The Ocean Race is just overwhelming, it destroys you physically. I didn't know what I had got myself into until we were on the ocean. Everything that I had previously been told about the race was true, but what I didn't know is that I would experience things that are hard to explain. It doesn't matter if you're told it's tough, you'll never imagine what can happen in the middle of the ocean until you're there and you taste the extreme physical fatigue. Once you're in that ocean you realise what the Ocean Race really is, its dangers and its demands. You get used to be surrounded by walls of waves everywhere. It's impressive. And the cold really gets inside of you." (lavozdegalicia.es, 23 May 2020, 25 Feb 2020; elpais.com, 14 Oct 2018)

FURTHER EDUCATION
She has studied for a master's degree in sport management. (elpais.com, 01 Apr 2020)
