She crews and her teammate Pablo Defazio helms their Nacra 17 boat. Defazio explains how they work together. "It's like a car. I steer the wheel and she is in charge of shifting and accelerating. MATERIAL DIFFERENCES
She and her teammate Pablo Defazio do not have the financial support and materials that he believes other crews do. Defazio explains their situation. "They [other teams] have a lot of material. We have two sets of sails and they buy seven and then choose the best for the [Olympic] Games. Or they buy a new boat. We can't. We're going to use the same one we've had for three years.
