Previously a water polo player, he fell in love with sailing the first time he tried it. "In sailing, the thing that motivated me the most was the fact that I sail alone and had the opportunity to make my own decisions while competing. That doesn't mean I don't like other sports, on the contrary, I appreciate them even more. I find that different sports also offer different opportunities depending on the needs of the individual. I was lucky to choose a sport that I love and with the support of the family at my club, Jugola Grakalic, where I took my first steps in sailing, I found myself, and a way to express myself."
