"There were seven of us girls, me with my two sisters and four neighbours. Two of them were distant relatives of a professional sailing coach. At that time, it was mostly boys sailing in Lithuania so this coach wanted to increase the number of girls. It was the beginning of summer and these two girls invited all the neighbourhood girls to try sailing on our hometown lake in Kaunas. When I tried it, I liked sailing so much.
