He began sailing with his crewmate Varun Thakkar in 2011. The pair started out in the 29er class before moving on to a 49er boat. "Varun Thakkar and I are in it for good. QUITTING SCHOOL
He left school in his youth to pursue his love of sailing. "I was in class IX when I decided to quit school and learn through an open education system.I was allowed to take just 10 days leave in a year at my school.
