General Interest

General
PARTNERSHIP
She and Patricia Merz began competing together in lightweight double sculls in 2011, with the aim of qualifying for the Olympic Games. They missed out on the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro, but secured their spot for Tokyo 2020 at the 2021 Final Olympic Qualification Regatta in Lucerne, Switzerland. "It was our last chance. In the last 18 months we have learned a lot, and now this is a dream come true. It is nice to see that all the work we have done in recent months has borne fruit. It's a big relief and we are very proud. We had bet everything on this Olympic qualification." (lematin.ch, 17 May 2021; msn.com, 17 May 2021; news.in-24.com, 16 May 2021; laregione.ch, 16 May 2021)

FURTHER EDUCATION
Between 2014 and 2017 she studied for an online degree in business administration at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland. (LinkedIn profile, 01 Nov 2020)
