"Rowing is like a 'kransekage' [a traditional Danish layer cake]. Training is the layers and then comes the competitions - the cherry on top. But I actually like each layer just as much, because they taste just as good. And the cherry actually doesn't taste particularly good. But that's the experience, and when I'm at a competition, I think it's the coolest thing. But if I look at it as a whole, then I actually think all the layers taste equally good."
