STUDYING OVERSEAS
She was offered a scholarship to study at Ohio State University in the United States of America after she met the college's assistant rowing coach Diana Albrecht while competing at the 2011 World Junior Championships in Eton, England. She took a one-year break from her studies to focus on training ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games, but returned to complete her final year after the Games and graduate with a degree in exercise science in 2017. "I always wanted to study abroad. I had a lot of other schools that offered me the chance to pursue my career with them. I wanted to be in a competitive school, where I could train hard to come back home and try out for the national team, and that had a really good exercise science programme. Ohio State University was the perfect fit." (diaridetarragona.com, 25 Jul 2017; Instagram profile, 08 May 2017; row2k.com, 24 Jan 2017; ohiostatebuckeyes.com, 25 May 2016)

PARTNERSHIP
In 2019 she began rowing alongside Virginia Diaz, with whom she claimed a gold medal at the 2019 European Championships in Lucerne, Switzerland. "We get along very well, in fact I think we complement each other perfectly. I am pure energy and a nervous wreck all the time and Virginia is a very calm person. We are both perfectionists and we understand each other's needs, which helps make for quality training." (worldrowing.com, 01 Aug 2020; diaridetarragona.com, 03 Apr 2020)

FURTHER EDUCATION
She has studied for a master's degree in children's motor development at Liverpool John Moores University in England. (worldrowing.com, 01 Aug 2020; marca.com, 31 Mar 2020)
