TRAINING IN TASMANIA
In January 2020 the Australian women's rowing team were forced to relocate from Sydney to Launceston in Tasmania for training due to the Australian bush fires. "When we arrived [in Tasmania] it was sunny and blue skies, no smoke in sight. So far we've had no interruption to our training, we've pushed on as normal. It's really important at this point in time that consistency in training is what we're able to do." (abc.net.au, 14 Jan 2020)

FURTHER EDUCATION
After competing in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, she took some time away from rowing to complete a master's degree in business administration at the University of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. She returned to the sport in 2018. (rowingaustralia.com.au, 01 Sep 2019; mercantile.org.au, 01 Dec 2018; LinkedIn profile, 01 Nov 2018)
