COVID DIAGNOSIS
In March 2020 she discovered she had likely contracted the COVID-19 virus while training with a group of around 30 women in Princeton, NJ, United States of America. She did not get tested though, as she did not experience serious symptoms. "I had basically a week-long fever [but] fortunately no respiratory problems. My doctor was 100% certain that I had it. The fever, the lack of smell, the fatigue, they all kind of match the patterns. And I had direct contact with somebody who had it and who had tested positive. I think it's a drain on resources to get tested if you're healthy and low risk. Also, you put people in jeopardy when you go get tested. You increase contact with other people. So he told me to just stay home. I can say personally a mild case was still very challenging for me. I was having a hard time with it. It's scary. Scary times." (stargazette.com, 03 Apr 2020)
