Her older sister Jung Hye-Ri has also represented the Republic of Korea in rowing. She was part of the quadruple sculls team that won bronze at the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia, and won silver in lightweight double sculls at the 2019 Asian Championships in Chungju, Republic of Korea.
