General Interest

General
FROM JUNIOR TO SENIOR EIGHT BOAT
He won gold in the men's eight at the junior world championships in 2013 as well as at the U23 world championships in 2015, followed by a bronze medal in the eight at the U23 world championships in 2016. After this, he competed in the four and pair in 2017 and 2018, before being called up to the senior men's eight for the European championships in 2019. He said it was always his goal to compete in the German men's eight. "It is something special when you know that you are part of the German men's eight. Anyone who is involved in competitive rowing has the goal of making it into this boat. But I also realised that the hard work was only just beginning. I want to train even harder because the German eight has had so much success in the past."
