CROWDFUNDING
In November 2020 she set up a project called 'Marg'Olympique' to help raise funds for her to compete at the rescheduled Olympic Games in Tokyo. "It is progressing little by little. I aspire to become more independent, but a high-level rowing career costs a lot of money, and the tools aren't cheap. I want to give myself every chance to achieve my goals." (paris-normadie.fr, 20 Nov 2020)

HOMETOWN PRIDE
She spends the week studying and training in Paris, but returns to her family home in Le Havre on weekends to row. She feels strongly about her role as an ambassador for the city. "I love my city. Every weekend, I try to get back to Le Havre. Parisian life is oppressive. I miss the sea. I know why I do all this, for myself above all but I am not alone, I also do it for all the people who believe in me. I feel like I have a role of ambassador for Le Havre, and I want to represent my city at the biggest sports competition." (tendanceouest.com, 10 May 2021; paris-normandie.fr, 20 May 2021)
