I got in the boat and understood what it means to have healthy and fair competition. In basketball the mothers of opponents were shouting at me about everything. RIO EXPERIENCE
He was teamed up with Marco Di Costanzo in the coxless pair just a month ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The duo went on to win a bronze medal together at the Games. "What we managed to do was really unexpected. I remember practically nothing of that race, I have some flashes of the start, of the finish and then nothing more.
