In 2019 she and her teammates [Sayuri Sugimoto, Rie Matsubara, Ayuka Suzuki, Sakura Noshitani and Kiko Yokota] were presented with Best Gymnast Award by the Japan Gymnastics Federation. They became the first Japanese team in 44 years to win a medal in the group all-around at the world championships following their silver at the 2019 edition in Baku, Azerbaijan.
