Her mother sent her to swimming classes in 2006. She also did athletics, where coaches were impressed by her speed and stamina. She was encouraged to take up biathlon, and after performing well in that she went to Italy where she took up pentathlon. (Athlete, 23 Jul 2016)

FAVOURITE DISCIPLINES
She says her favourite disciplines in the sport are shooting and cross-country running. "Running and shooting are the areas where I am strongest. My running is so good and so many teams invited me [to join and focus] on athletics, but I said no because I love pentathlon. The branch I have the most difficulty with in modern pentathlon is fencing. I have only one trainer in each branch, but I have two trainers in fencing. Riding is very important to me.
