"My father was a big fan of martial arts and did karate himself when he was young. Every Friday evening we would watch martial arts movies together. When I turned seven he asked me if I would like to learn it too and took me to a taekwondo school. I stayed with it until we migrated to Germany. One day my father came home with a slip of paper with the address of a karate dojo in his hand.
