Her younger sister Laetitia has also represented France in karate, and was part of the team that placed third in team kata at the 2021 European Championships in Porec, Croatia. Her parents started a karate club in Ajaccio, France. Her father is a seventh dan black belt and her mother has served as a karate referee. Her parents founded a martial arts club in Ajaccio, France, so she took up the sport at a young age. "I wasn't the one who chose to focus on kata. I had been spotted in kata and in kumite but I learned later that the kata coach had said to the kumite coach, 'Leave her to me, I think she can go far in kata'.
