Her younger brother Luigi has represented Italy in judo, competing in -73kg at the 2021 Zagreb Open in Croatia. He also won gold at the 2019 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival in Baku, Azerbaijan. Her father Bernardo represented Italy in judo, and has served as her coach and on the council of the Italian Federation of Judo, Karate and Martial Arts. Her partner Gabriele Chila has represented Italy in long jump. He won bronze at the 2019 European U23 Championships in Gavle, Sweden.
