She began her career competing in the -48kg weight class before moving up to the -52kg category in 2018, and being fast-tracked into the senior national squad following the retirement of Erika Miranda. "It was an opportunity that came at the right time for me. With each competition I'm evolving, noticing the differences since I started and I think I'm managing to take advantage of the opportunities.
