Her father Gennadiy Bilodid represented Ukraine in judo at three consecutive Olympic Games between 2000 and 2008, and won bronze in the -73kg category at the 2005 World Championships in Cairo, Egypt. But then my coach left, and I didn't want to train with any other coaches. My mother was working as a judo coach at the time and I began to attend her training sessions.
