General
TRAINING CAMPS
In 2018 he was selected by the International Judo Federation [IJF] to join a training programme in Budapest, Hungary. "The judo here is intense. The main focus on why they sent us out here is to get used to fighting the Europeans. They are more powerful. The Japanese use a lot of technique but the Europeans are brutal, they power everything. They use weights to cover up their judo skills." Besides Hungary he has also attended training camps sponsored by the IJF in France and Spain. MOVE TO JAPAN
He moved to Japan in 2017 to start university and improve his judo technique thanks to a scholarship from Olympic Solidarity. After two years in which he learnt the Japanese language, he began studying business law at Ryutsu Keizai University in Ryugasaki, Japan.
