"I had many problems at school. I was always fighting with everybody. That's why my grandmother took me to judo. I told her, 'Grandma, I want to be a karateka like my father', and she took me to the Sports School in Carolina [Puerto Rico]. However, karate class was full. I was mad because of it but I saw another door that said judo and told my mother to take me there.
