Andres Sancho [father], CRC

His father Andres Sancho represented Costa Rica in judo at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, and has also served as his coach. His two younger brothers have also competed for Costa Rica in judo. Julian won bronze in the -73kg category at the 2021 Panamerican Championships in Guadalajara, Mexico and competed at the 2021 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. His other brother Sebastian won bronze at the 2021 Panamerican Open event in Guayaguil, Ecuador.
