Her partner Temur Nozadze has also represented Georgia in judo. He competed at the 2021 European Championships in Lisbon, Portugal. Her uncle Soso Liparteliani was also a Georgian judoka and won bronze in the -81kg category at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
