MOVE TO DORTMUND
Following the conclusion of the 2018/19 season she left German club HSG Bensheim/Auerbach and joined Borussia Dortmund with a view to training and competing at a higher level. "Bensheim is a great club where I have learned a lot, but I am ready for a step up, particularly in view of my position in the Dutch national team. [Training] will be a lot heavier and more intensive, but that appeals to me. This could be an intermediate step, but it is also possible that I stay with Dortmund for the rest of my handball life."
