In 2016 she dropped out of education to pursue a full-time career playing handball, but admits she was uncertain about the prospect of moving overseas. "It is nice if you can earn money from sport and don't have to pay attention to anything else, but still, I doubted whether I really wanted to go abroad. I doubted whether I would like it abroad, but it would initially be for six months, so that was manageable.
