MOVE TO DORTMUND
In 2018 she moved from German club HSG Bad Wildungen to fellow German club Borussia Dortmund with a view to training and competing at a higher level. "I decided not to stay in Bad Wildungen was because I felt like I had to take a step up. I wanted a club with a better training facility and a higher level of training. In Dortmund, I found a club with a lot of possibilities. And on top of it all, they also qualified to play in the EHF Cup [European Handball Federation Cup], so that is also a bonus I will get there. MENTOR
She was mentored by Dutch badminton player Eline Coene after joining Sporttop, a mentoring programme for elite Dutch athletes. "I am very happy with her as a mentor. Some periods we have a lot of contact, sometimes less. She is always willing to help me and I can always call her. Sporttop wants to help as many young talents as possible achieve their sporting goals. To reach the absolute top, sooner or later everyone will have to make decisions that determine a top sporting career.
