RETIREMENT PLANS
In early 2021 she announced that she would retire at the end of the 2020/21 season. "It is a decision that has been carefully considered. It was already planned since last year [2020], I knew that I will stop at the end of this season. I wanted to have one last season to be able to prepare for my professional retraining a little more and to better switch to working life." She plans to work in operations management in the logistics sector. "I'm starting to know what I want and I think it can be great. I know that I can also experience great things in business, that's what I want in the future." She also says she was surprised to be given the chance to end her career at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "I was already very happy to participate in the preparation. I did not necessarily expect to be selected in the 15 because I was not part of the team during recent competitions. I have worked a lot and I think I have showed on the court that I could help this team. I am delighted to be a member of the adventure."
