She took up the sport at age 11. (la1ere.francetvinfo.fr, 22 Mar 2016)
:
She was initially involved in athletics but wanted to play in a team sport, so switched to handball. "I practised the 100m, the long jump and the hammer throw, but I didn't have that spark anymore. I wanted to find a team spirit, to share something with teammates. There are many similarities between athletics and handball such as the runs and the impulse. I also realised that high performance would be more within my reach in handball than in athletics." (NOC Media Guide, 2016; lasemaine.fr, 12 May 2017)
:
In 2016 she was presented with the honorary medal of the French Guiana Territorial Collectivity. (ctguyane.fr, 20 Dec 2016)

She was named Best Defender of the 2016 European Championship in Sweden. (swe2016.ehf-euro.com, 18 Dec 2016)

She was named Best Defender of the 2014/15 French Women's Handball Championship. (sport4final.de, 31 Jan 2019)
