UPCOMING TRANSFER
In February 2021 he announced he would be joining Danish team GOG Handbold ahead of the 2021/22 Handbold Ligaen season. "GOG is a club that plays fast and good handball, and I am sure that it can help to develop me as a player. In addition, GOG is among the top teams in Denmark, and it was important for me to come to a club where I think the squad looks very strong." (handball-planet.com, 11 Feb 2021; gog.dk, 10 Feb 2021)

PENALTY SAVE
He says he struggled to deal with the levels of pressure and expectation he experienced following his penalty save in the final minutes of the semifinal against Croatia at the 2017 World Championship in France. His save sent the match to extra-time, which Norway won, and progressed to their first world championship final. "It's really just a good memory from that championship, so it's positive in that sense. There is nothing negative about contributing to a historic world championship final. But the save has followed me. It was the one I was measured against for a long time, and it was tough at times. It can be too much of a good thing. Maybe I could not cope with all the attention right afterwards. There was an extra pressure and expectations that felt a little unfair. That was what I was measured against, and it was challenging."
