MOVE TO KIEL
In June 2020 he moved to German side THW Kiel from French club Paris Saint-Germain. "I've seen a lot in my career, but the THW jersey gives me goosebumps. The club has the greatest handball history in the world. That makes me proud. I am aware that expectations are big, the pressure is big, but the biggest is the one which I put on myself. THW Kiel are the biggest team in the world and at the moment has maybe the best roster in the world of handball. I want [the team] to be the best in the world and for everyone to agree on that." EARLY DAYS
As a child, he and his father would watch videos of the best handball players in the world in order to study and analyse their performances. His mother then began recording his matches, so his family could analyse footage of his own performances. "We went home and watched the video over dinner, analysing it together. It was something we all enjoyed, and it was fun for me. I think those analyses meant the world to me.
