Her younger sister Hanna Bredal Oftedal has represented Norway in handball, and was part of the team that won bronze at the 2012 World Youth Championships in Montenegro. Her partner Rune Dahmke has represented Germany in handball, and was part of the team that won gold at the 2016 European Championship in Poland.
