General Interest

General
MATERNITY BREAK
She took a break from the sport in 2019 in order to start a family. She gave birth to her son Adam in May 2019 and returned to the sport six months later. "It's said that it is never prefect to have a child in the middle of your handball career. But when it came to us, I thought it would help prolong my handball career and give me a different calmness, and a different perspective on life. Handball will always take up a lot of space as long as I play, but there will always be someone that takes up even more space, and that's great." (tophaandbold.dk, 07 Feb 2021)

ITALIAN ROOTS
Her grandfather is Italian and it is because of him she was given the middle name 'Ruscetta', which has its origins in Naples, Italy. "He came to Bergen [Norway] with a dance band." (vg.no, 07 Dec 2015)
