TOURNAMENT DEDICATION
She says the 2017 World Championship in Germany was a special tournament for her following the death of her father in 2015. Her father also served as her handball coach growing up. "This [to represent Norway at the world championships] has been a dream for me since I was a child. Since I lost my dad, this has meant even more. I promised my dad before he died that I will do everything to follow my dreams. Therefore, it was so special to achieve it. I have played for dad. This means a lot to me." (nordlys.no, 08 Nov 2017)
