After five years in France playing for HBC Nantes, he has signed a contract to play for North Macedonian team HC Vardar from the 2021/22 season. "Nantes has been an important stage in my life. I am a bit sad and I would not have minded settling down here, but I also believe that it will help us forming a new family since my wife is North Macedonian and there will be many positive aspects in the change. It was a difficult but very thoughtful decision that I will take as a challenge, as a new opportunity to continue learning both in the world of handball and in that of another culture, another language and another country."
