He has served as head coach of the Brazilian men's national team on two occasions [2005-08 and 2012-16] as well as coaching the Brazilian men's junior team. He coached the Argentinian men's national team between 2004 and 2005. He has also served as a youth coach at the Catalan Handball Federation in Spain and has coached a number of club teams in Spain.
