He discovered his passion for golf when he followed his dad to drive his buggy at a golf course near Bangkok, Thailand. "When I was four, I was introduced to swimming and everyone outgrew me. I'm this scrawny kid and I then started playing football at six and I was horrible at it. Maybe that's why I changed to golf." (pgatour.com, 18 May 2019; oneasia.asia, 15 Oct 2010)

HELPING HAND
He spent time living at the home of Swedish golfer Daniel Chopra in Orlando, FL, United States of America, during the first lockdown of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "When the shutdown happened, I didn't want to go back to Thailand as we weren't sure how long the break would last. And then, our country shut down and it was too late to get home. I called my friend Daniel asking if I could stay with him for a few days and it turned into a few months. So it's a great story. We played basketball and [Chopra's son] Casper would beat us easily. I also spent time wake boarding and wake surfing and [Chopra's wife] Samantha plays tennis so we played a bit to keep active. We've played golf almost every day together and Daniel's a great guy and a great golfer. They have helped me out so much. You see the nicer part of people and the best of people coming out to help one another." (asiantour.com, 07 Mar 2021; bangkokpost.com, 04 Jun 2020)

MONKHOOD
He spent two weeks living with monks at a temple in Chiang Rai, Thailand, after losing his Asian Tour card in 2016. He says his time with the monks helped to improve his mental approach to the sport. He began wearing the colour orange on the final day of tournaments in honour of the monks and includes meditation as part of his training regime. "Before that, golf was everything to me, and it gave me so much pressure during competition. I have been competing with less pressure ever since and starting getting better results. I prayed and chanted every day in the temple. I felt really peaceful. I seem to take things a lot easier now [speaking in 2019]. It is not all the time [meditating], it is stuff I do when I feel like something is off, or I feel like I need to get back to the peace or something is going crazy." AUTOGRAPH
He signs his autograph by making the letter 'J' into the shape of a musical note followed by the letters 'azz'. "I used to write my entire name, but then I realised that wasn't going to work. I can't do this anymore, so I had to come up with a new way. I tried this and it kind of got good feedback." (espn.com, 19 May 2019; golfdigest.com, 18 May 2019)

NICKNAME
He was born 'Atiwit', but his father gave him the nickname 'Jazz' because he was a fan of the jazz music genre. (obgolf.co.id, 11 Oct 2019; theopen.com, 22 Jan 2019; oneasia.asia, 15 Oct 2010; pgatour.com, 18 May 2019)
