"Golf is so difficult, because the moment you think you're really good, you get back on the ground. It's so humbling and you can never take things for granted. You can never be good enough, you can practice in so many ways, hit different shots and play different courses. The sport of golf never gets boring." (fsunews.com, 26 Mar 2017; seminoles.com, 01 Jun 2017)

"Everyone will always make mistakes in every single round. When you don't put pressure or expectations on yourself you can execute your best shots so free your mind and enjoy the moment of playing." (seminoles.com, 01 Jun 2017)

FROM USA TO FINLAND AND BACK
Born in New York, NY, United States of America, she moved to Finland with her family at age four. After graduating high school in Finland, she decided to return to the United States of America to study and play golf at Florida State University. "My parents told me that if I wanted to continue playing golf, I could go to the US and study and play. I had seen it in movies and thought that it was so cool. I've always been pretty independent. Coming here [Florida State University] was a change because I was on my own for a long period of time." (seminoles.com, 01 Jun 2017)

WINE
She has a passion for wine. In 2018 she worked a part-time job at an alcohol shop in Espoo, Finland, before developing her passion for wine in San Diego, CA, United States of America. "Golf is an individual sport in which the salary is related to success. My success was modest, which led me to apply for a job. I have always been interested in wine. I have visited the surrounding wineries [in San Diego, CA], but my highest desire is to get acquainted with the Napa Valley in Northern California. My favorite wine is the local Chardonnay, but I also like to drink wine made from the Pinot Grigio and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes." (alko.fi, 17 Oct 2020)
