She played tennis and polo, and competed in hockey at international youth level, before focusing on golf at age 13. "I decided on golf. I wasn't very good. General
EARLY DAYS
At a young age she preferred hockey over golf, and was an elite-level youth hockey player. She says her family members were influential in her early sporting days. "I don't remember but my siblings took me golfing when I was very little, I was around four years old when I picked up my first club. My brothers, who are two and four years older than me, played the sport as my parents took them golfing and eventually took me too. And there I started. I didn't like it very much, but it was fun. I was small and I liked hitting golf balls. I also did other sports, such as tennis, polo, hockey, basketball and enjoyed dancing and singing. However, one of my cousins played hockey very well and encouraged me to practise it. She was good with a hockey stick and I loved it. So I preferred, at the time, this sport to golf. I was a hockey player until I was 13." (handicap54.golf, 20 Apr 2020)

STUDYING OVERSEAS
At age 18 she moved to the United States of America to study at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, on a golf scholarship. She graduated in 2018. "It was a great experience. Here, in Argentina, I went to a bilingual school. So, I had all the subjects in English as well as in Spanish. Therefore, I was open to going there because I knew some English. Several universities contacted me, but I went with the one that gave me the most security."
