MOVE TO UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
In 2006 she relocated from Spain to the United States of America in order to study at Arizona State University as she felt the move would increase her chances of progressing her golf career. "When I was at high school [in Spain], they hardly gave us opportunities and I wanted to have a career [in golf]. Competing in America is a big leap, playing at the university, learning English, the step is important. But if you want to go all out, this is the place to be. It is like basketball, playing in Europe is fine, but the NBA is the best and you aspire to it. The level is very high and we achieve even more results by strong competition.
