He grew up playing football on the streets of Bingerville, Cote d'Ivoire, but travelled to Italy at age 16 to pursue trials at a number of Italian clubs alongside four other Ivorian teenagers. CLUB CAREER
He moved to Italy at age 16 following a successful trial at Italian club AC Prato. He then spent time on loan at the academy teams of Sassuolo [2014/15] and Inter Milan [2015/16] in Italy. He also played for Italian clubs AS Citadella and Genoa before joining Fiorentina on a permanent deal in September 2020, following a loan spell at the club in the previous season.
