Her partner Luigi Samele has represented Italy in fencing at international level. He won bronze in team sabre at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. He also won silver in team sabre at the world championships in 2018 and 2010 and bronze in team sabre at the world championships in 2019 and 2017.
