OCCUPATION
She has combined her sporting commitments in equestrian with working as an associate solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London, England. "I've balanced competitive horse riding alongside my legal work since I started at Freshfields in 2017, and this has been singularly the most challenging, as well as fulfilling, endeavour of my life. Pursuing this dual career has given me huge opportunities in both spheres, allowing me to develop as a lawyer and quite unexpectedly qualify for an Olympic Games. I'm very grateful to the Freshfields anti-trust, competition and trade team for their support and there are actually a lot of learning points that carry across. I've got a lot of discipline from riding and it puts me in situations that are unexpected sometimes or takes me out of my comfort zone and that's really useful at work because it means that you get steadier under pressure."
