COMPETING FOR PORTUGAL
She has competed for Brazil at international level, including at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. She switched to represent Portugal, the country of her grandfather, after failing to make the Brazilian team for the 2006 World Equestrian Games [WEG] in Aachen, Germany. "It felt right to change and my grandfather always wanted me to ride for Portugal. I am happy that I made it happen." (luciana-diniz.com, 31 Oct 2016; record.xl.pt, 06 Aug 2012; equitacao.tv, 27 Jul 2012)

WRITING
She wrote the book 'Fit for Gold' about her story of competing at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. "Writing is something that has surprised me in a way, because if I say I'm going to write today and I have no inspiration, then I can't write. When I feel inspiration, I do it. I let it come to me instead of forcing myself to write. It is a hobby, it brings me joy when I'm doing it and to share my message with other people." (horsemagazine.com, 01 Oct 2017)
