"Horseback riding has brought great meaning to my life. Horses are everything to me, I couldn't really see my life without them. They led me to be humble in life, we must remember that in sport today we are at the peak and maybe tomorrow this will no longer be the case. Without the horse we are nothing." General Interest

General
OLYMPIC EXPERIENCE
She was a late addition to the Italian eventing team ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro after Vittoria Panizzon was forced to pull out through injury to herself and her horse. She believes she is better prepared for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, but knows the atmosphere could be very different without fans. "It will probably be an Olympics without an audience and the fact of not having them attend the competitions will be felt. I say this also thinking back to the previous Olympics, the one in Rio, where I participated and where the public was. For me it will be the second Olympics so I'll undoubtedly have more maturity, more awareness." (azzurridigloria.com, 23 Dec 2020; coni.it, 18 Jul 2016; horseandhound.co.uk, 16 Jul 2016)

MOVE TO FRANCE
She has dual Italian and French nationality. She relocated to France in 2010 after a chance encounter with a Swiss businessman at a competition. "I decided to move there due to the high number of competitions, which helped to simplify my career choice. I graduated as an instructor from the French National School of Equitation in Saumur."
